THE CITY OF JACINTO FOR THE POSITION OF A WATER PRODUCTION OPERATOR I
The City of San Jacinto is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Water Production Operator I to perform operates, maintains, installs services and performs operational repairs to facilities and equipment used in the storage, treatment and distribution of potable water, reclaimed water and waste water; follows a prescribed routine in reading and recording water meter readings; and to perform related duties as assigned.
A typical way of obtaining the required qualifications is to possess the equivalent of:
Experience - Four years (4) experience in the maintenance of wells, treatment plants, water services, mains, meters, valves, hydrants and related facilities.
Licenses and Certificates – Possession of a Class “B” California Driver’s License with Tanker Endorsement.
Possession of a Water Treatment Operator Grade 1 certificate from the California Department of Public Health.
Possession of a Water Distribution Grade 2 certificate from the California Department of Public Health.
Education - High school diploma or equivalent.
