This classification is for the City Clerk (CC) and Assistant to the City Manager (ACM); due to this caveat this classification specification will list duties and responsibilities for the two (2) positions.
To perform a variety of administrative and managerial responsibilities in the conduct and management of the activities of preparing City Council agendas, minutes, and Council packets, as well as responding to Public Records request and maintaining all official City records.

Provides continuous leadership in carrying out the program mission, as amended from time to time, including:
• Maintains records and prepares daily reports related to work performed.
• Compile information for agenda preparation; collect background information; assemble agenda for printing; distribute packets to City Council and various agencies.
• Prepare and distribute updates and revisions of Council Policy and those of city boards, commissions, and committees.
• Respond to inquiries from the public by letter, telephone and in person regarding Council action and records; research information for public or city staff when necessary.
• Maintain administrative files including historical legal documents, resolutions, ordinances, agreements, deeds and annexations.
• Serve as custodian of the city seal and city archivist for official records.
• Process all municipal elections to County Elections Office and maintain election files for all municipal/special elections; receive initiatives and process accordingly.
• Maintain list of commissions and boards; receive applications for membership on boards and commission; publish notices for vacancies; process applications for Council selection; notify applicants of results.
• Assist City Manager in responding to various inquires related to city operations, policies, and programs.
• Serve as financial disclosure officer for Fair Political Practices Commission for campaign disclosure forms and statement of economic interest.
• Represent the department to outside agencies and organizations; participate in outside community and professional groups and committees; provide technical assistance as necessary.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, other city employees and the public using principles of good customer service.
• Process Worker’s Compensation Claims and coordinate other confidential HR-related activities.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the County-wide classification of Senior Accounting Technician. The current vacancy exists within the Treasurer – Tax Collector’s Office. DEFINITION:

To assist in implementing, coordinating, and evaluating recreation and programs and events, including but not limited to Teen Programs, Youth Programs, After School Programs, Aquatic Programs and events, promotional events, special events and excursions.

• Experience scheduling, organizing, assigns, and monitors program volunteers.

• Able to work with others and create relationships with partner non-profit organization.

Knowledge of:

Community resources adaptable to the development of community services programs for specified recreation programs.  Principles of program coordination, training and evaluations.  Emergency procedures, First Aid and CPR.  Safety principles, practices and procedures.

Skill to:

Apply First Aid methods and safety precautions related to assigned programs.  Develop and maintain support for programs from the community and local organizations.  Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.  Oversee train and evaluate assigned staff.  Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of the required duties.  Operate office equipment, including a personal computer.

Ability to:

Develop cooperative public relations with the general public.  Remain calm in stressful situations.  Be consistent when enforcing rules and regulations.  Maintain authority and control over programs.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.  Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in recreation or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

Two (2) year of increasing responsible experience in the delivery of recreation services. A Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted for one year of experience.

License or Certificates:

When only assigned to recreation duties, the following is required and must be maintained during the course of employment.

• Required upon hire:
  •  Valid California Driver’s license,
• Required within six months of hire,
  • Possession and maintenance of a current American Red Cross First Aid Certificate or equivalent and
  • Current American Red Cross Community CPR Certificate or equivalent

The City Manager is the administrative head of the government of the City. THE POSITION

The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for staff to assist with events at the Rocklin Events Center and other locations in the City. The Events Venue Specialist (Program Assistant) is a temporary position and incumbents work on an as-needed basis, not to exceed 28 hours per week and up to 999 hours per fiscal year. Temporary employment does not provide any guarantee of continued employment and the City of Rocklin may end the assignment at any time. Temporary employees are not eligible for any other benefits except where required by law and there is no guarantee of future permanent employment.

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Performs light janitorial duties (e.g., empty trash, clean restrooms, and restock supplies) before, during, and after events.
• Sets up audio visual equipment at venue site.
• Checks clients in and out of City venues.
• Takes prospective renters on tours of facilities and answers questions about pricing and equipment at each rental location.
• Ensures client needs are met.

THE  SCHEDULE 

A typical schedule looks like this:  

Evening and Night shifts Sunday through Thursday

Shifts vary from 7am - 1am Friday and Saturday

Night and weekend availability is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years of age

Six (6) months of volunteer or work experience in the area assigned is highly desirable

DEFINITION

Under general direction, performs all phases of difficult, complex, professional, and technical planning and related works. Manages a variety of administrative tasks including grant compliance review, processing contracts, and verifying documentation.  Performs other duties as required.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

The Senior Planner is expected to independently perform the full scope of assigned duties. Incumbents work independently in the research and analysis of planning issues, in the preparation of planning reports, studies and recommendations, and in the supervision and coordination of assigned planning functions and processes. Pioneer Community Energy Seeks a 
Senior Manager, Quantitative Analysis and Modeling

The Senior Manager, Quantitative Analysis and Modeling is responsible for organizing, assigning, reviewing and participating in the work of personnel engaged in professional duties related to analysis and modeling, structured product development, portfolio risk management, and integrated resource planning. Duties include:

• Planning, prioritizing, reviewing and participating in the performance of professional analysis and modeling of risk and value around complex transactions and portfolio positions, including structured products, rate analysis and development, and hedging strategies.
• Developing methods and schedules to accomplish assignments, ensuring work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Developing pricing and calibration models for a variety of products.
• Solving challenging quantitative problems related to setting rates and valuations for structured products.
• Developing Monte-Carlo simulations on a large scale across several variables with relevant coefficients. 
• Performing fast and accurate market risk measurements.
• Conducting complex market and portfolio modeling and analysis of Pioneer’s power supply position to effectively monitor exposure to adverse market changes.

• Creating and implementing measures to benchmark system implementations, enhancements, or modifications by providing documented system specifications, evaluating vendor proposals, and recommending appropriate course of action.
• Developing portfolio dashboard showing key metrics and risk positions.
• Using a variety of computer software programs to prepare reports, graphs and other materials related to energy resources, finance models and customer statistics. 
• Maintaining liaison with regional resource planning or supply agencies; serving on Pioneer committees as required; evaluating proposals in terms of resource costs, availability and consistency with long-term financial projections and resource needs.

Qualified candidates will possess a knowledge of California energy industry and electric power markets including CAISO, CPUC, CEC, and CARB, energy/financial markets and quantitative investment approaches, advanced computer modeling of power supply system operation and cost analysis and have the ability to perform complex professional analytical work in support of a variety of Pioneer’s product structuring and resource planning activities.
