The San José Fire Department is looking to fill a Senior Geographic Systems Specialist position within the BAS/Fire IT division. This role will manage mapping projects and, when applicable, application development activities to support the mapping function. • Oversee GIS data management efforts, including Fire-specific layers, ensuring the quality and timely input of the data. This involves performing quality control and quality assurance (QC/QA) and assisting with hands-on data management to minimize backlogs.
