Under general supervision, to perform a variety of non-sworn law enforcement related duties involving Code Enforcement and Crime Prevention. Additional Community Service Officer positions are Parking Enforcement and Property & Evidence. Incumbents will be eligible and considered for assignment to any of these functional areas. The initial assignment for this position will be Code Enforcement.
The salary range for this position is $58,177.60 - $70,740.80.
The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Crime & Intelligence Analyst classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
The Police Department is seeking to fill multiple positions for the Community Service Officer (CSO) classification. Under close supervision, this position will assist the Bureau of Field Operations in non-hazardous police functions, including but not limited to, assisting at one of the information centers or community policing centers, conducting investigations and performing non-enforcement related work.
