Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, the Accounting Technician I/II will perform a variety of paraprofessional accounting duties including general accounting, payroll processing, accounts receivable, revenue collections, accounts payable and purchase order processing, treasury assistance, business licensing, month-end general ledger account reconciliations/journals, annual audit/budget support, account analysis, and related duties as assigned.

The salary range for this classification is $18.66-$22.71 hourly, $38,812.80 -$47,236.80 annually. This position is covered under the Living Wage Policy and your hourly rate will be adjusted to $22.68/23.93 per hour. The Living Wage rate consists of a base amount and an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable pay.
The Department of Transportation (DOT) is accepting applications for the position of part-time benefited Maintenance Assistant. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will be required to pass a physical practical exam.
The actual salary shall be determined by the final candidate’s qualifications and experience. In addition to the starting salary, employees in the Engineer I/II classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation pay.
