$25.15 - $30.57 Per Hour

THE POSITION
The Public Works Maintenance Supervisor position at the Glenn County Public Works Agency plans, organizes and supervises maintenance, repair and construction of County road, bridge and culvert operations; performs a variety of technical tasks related to assigned areas of responsibility Incumbents of this supervisory class have full responsibility to direct the road, bridge and drainage maintenance operations in a geographic area of the County. This position is scheduled for forty (40) hours per week, Monday – Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM. This recruitment may be used to establish a list to fill future vacancies for the next six (6) months.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Experience: Four years of increasingly responsible experience in road and bridge maintenance, repair and construction, or solid waste disposal site operations, including one year of supervisory or lead responsibility.
Training: High school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized training in construction or related field.
