This position provides support, mentoring, education, skill-building, advocacy, and youth-guided programming to persons receiving services at the Glenn County Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health Department Community Drop-In Youth TAY Center. The incumbent will work as part of a School Wellness Team delivering timely mental health services to students and families on campus and in the community. This position is at-will, temporary, and part-time and is scheduled for up to twenty-five (25) hours per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
This position is located at the Glenn County Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health Division. The HHSA Mental Health Counselor, Senior II is distinguished from the HHSA Mental Health Counselor, Senior I by the performance of the full range of duties as assigned, requiring attainment of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Marriage Family Therapist License. The HHSA Mental Health Counselor, Senior III is the advanced level and supervisory classification in the series.
The County of Yuba Probation Department is currently recruiting for both Full-Time and Extra-Help Control Room Operators for the Youth Detention Facilities. Under general supervision, the Control Room Operator monitors video and audio equipment to ensure the safety and security of youths and staff in secured detention youth facilities; maintains records and performs a variety of complex, technical or specialized office support related to the operation of the Tri-County Juvenile Hall and the Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center; and performs other duties as assigned.
