The Mayor’s Gang Prevention Task Force (MGPTF) is the City of San José’s Youth Violence Reduction Strategy which operates within PRNS department of the City of San José. Over the past 25 years, the MGPTF has strategically worked to address issues of gang involvement among youth and young adults in an effort to reduce youth violence associated with gangs.

It operates seven amusement park rides, showcases various endangered species, and operates one of the oldest classical puppet theaters in California, as well as offering many other playgrounds and attractions emphasizing play and imagination in a natural conservation setting.
Position Salary Range: $8,0288.00 to $97,843.20. Effective July 1, 2018, employees in the Chief of Surveys classification shall also receive an approximate five percent (5%) ongoing non-pensionable compensation increase in addition to the compensation listed above.
