This is a joint funded position and shares the responsibilities for the Operation and Training for both the City of Patterson Fire Department and the West Stanislaus Fire District. These agencies are looking for a highly qualified person able to work with other department chiefs to organize, implement and maintain a training program and operations plan.
Tentative Recruitment Schedule
The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking to fill (1) one part-time Maintenance Worker positions and to establish an Eligibility List. Duties include but are not limited: Learn to perform unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor involving the repair, maintenance, and cleanup of public works facilities. Assist with digging out, breaking up and hauling away damaged sidewalks, gutters, curbs, and asphalt pavements. Assist with painting street signs, crossings, crosswalks, curbs and centerlines.
PATROL WORK SCHEDULE: 4 days on (11 hours) / 4 days off
ALL Patrol officers have the opportunity to work through each of the available shifts annually
Pay rate published is base pay only - see MOU for the multitude of specialty and incentive pays available.

The City of Chowchilla is seeking a Water System Worker I and II to assist in the operation and maintenance of the City’s water distribution system, including pumps, mains, chlorinators, meters, and other equipment; and do related work as required on an assigned shift, under general supervision of the Utilities Systems Supervisor and/or Director of Public Works.
