Under immediate supervision (Water Distribution Operator I) or general supervision (Water Distribution Operator II), performs skilled maintenance, repair, and construction work on the potable water treatment and distribution system of the water utilities services division; operates maintenance and construction tools and equipment; performs a variety of maintenance tasks relative to water distribution and treatment.
This is a Level I Peace Officer designation that performs a wide variety of duties in the enforcement of law and order; and to carry out special assignments in the protection of life and property within the City of Ceres. Receives general supervision from a police sergeant or other designated authority.

The Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader should have thorough knowledge of industry standards for proper construction and maintenance of municipal landscape, including irrigation, street trees, graffiti abatement, open space fuel modification, and environmental sustainability.
