A Dispatcher II is a civilian employee of the Police Department who performs a variety of tasks in the Department’s Support Services Division. Salary Range

The Assistant Director salary range is currently $178, 713.34 - $288, 700.62. Placement within this range will be dependent upon the qualifications and experience of the individual selected. The Position

Reporting to the Director, the Assistant Director serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Environmental Services Department (ESD), overseeing a budget of approximately $550 million and seven direct reports. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical skills, certifications, experience, and professional attributes suited to complete a full range of journey level mechanic work by performing preventative maintenance repair and overhaul of gasoline, diesel, alternative fuel, hybrid and electric automobiles, light and medium duty trucks, and related equipment that includes but is not limited to emergency generators, small construction equipment, bituminous machine, trailers, arrow board trailers, message board trailers, gas, diesel, and electric driven carts, landscape trucks, paint sprayer trucks, pressure washer trailers.

The Public Works Department consists of Design Engineering, Development Engineering, Construction, Civic Facilities, Transportation, Survey, and Real Property sections. The department reviews all proposed land development projects in the City and executes the design and construction of public projects such as streets, parks, and public buildings.
