The City of Millbrae has exciting opportunities for multiple, temporary Public Works Maintenance Workers for various Divisions including Streets, Facilities, and Parks. Under direct and general supervision, these positions will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the maintenance and construction of City streets, storm drains, parks, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and related equipment; and operates and maintains a variety of heavy equipment, power tools, and vehicles required to accomplish assigned tasks.

POSITION
To perform a variety of tasks in the maintenance of City-owned buildings, equipment and facilities. The purpose of this recruitment is to fill a current temporary/part-time vacancy in our Community Services Department and to create a list for future vacancies.
Candidates who do not currently meet the minimum qualifications for the Facilities Maintenance Worker I position may be considered for an Intern position instead.
Temporary employees work no more than 130 hours per month AND 960 hours per fiscal year.
