The Fiscal Analyst I/II/III position at the Glenn County Community Action Division, performs varied and complex professional accounting and financial analysis work relating to various grants and programs; fiscal and contract management; fiscal program analysis and compliance; prepares analytical, narrative, statistical, accounting and financial reports; develops and monitors budgets; prepares financial statements and reports, and related duties as assigned. Fiscal Analyst II is the journey-level classification in the series and is distinguished from the Fiscal Analyst I by the responsibility and working independently with minimal supervision. Fiscal Analyst III is the advanced level and supervisory classification in the series, and is distinguished from Fiscal Analyst I/II by the performance of the most complex accounting and analytical work within the assigned department. This position is full-time and scheduled for forty (40) hours per week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Provides information for and prepares periodic accounting, fiscal reports, and analysis to internal units, federal, state, and local agencies and/or to private auditing firms as required by governing agencies. 
• Prepares reports and analysis on accounting activities relating to funds, grants, and programs. 
• Prepares various financial statements including worksheets, balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flow, adjusting and closing balance sheets, depreciation schedules, allocation schedules, and cost reports.
• Monitors the status of various grants including analyzing the availability of funds, reviewing expenditures, and ensuring that activities comply with grant regulations.
• Participates in budget development and administration for a variety of department budgets; prepares cost estimates for budget recommendations; monitors and controls expenditures.

 

 

The Substance Use Disorder Counselor I/II position is located in the Behavioral Health division at the Health and Human Services Agency. This position performs a variety of para-professional and responsible eligibility determination and case management duties for alcohol and drug programs, including crisis services to individuals; and performs related duties as assigned. The Substance Use Disorder Counselor II is the full journey-level class within series and performs the full range of duties as assigned, responsible for direct client contact in the provision of case management including complex cases. This position is scheduled for forty (40) hours per week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Performs client intake procedures, eligibility determinations and establishes case loads and services for programs in drug and alcohol, specialized programs, grant funded programs, and other health and human services programs.
• Maintains Glenn County drug and alcohol specialized programs, grant funded programs caseloads under the supervision of a health services program coordinator or HHSA program manager.
• Communicates with clients; determines eligibility, educates clients regarding various health services, social services, grant funded and specialized programs and recommends other sources of services for those not eligible.
• Tracks, documents, and prepares information for appropriate billing for services; maintains established productivity rates for a variety of health services programs.

The County of Yuba is actively recruiting to fill current vacancies and establish an employment list for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher within the Sheriff’s Department.  The incumbent receives 9-1-1 system sheriff, fire, medical emergency and rescue calls; dispatches sheriff, fire and medical personnel following established procedures; maintains communication with officers in the field to ensure safety and provide back-up and information; provides relief coverage for the records unit; and performs related work as assigned. The Yuba County Sheriff’s Department is currently accepting applications to establish an eligibility list for the classification of Correctional Officer.  Under continuing supervision incumbents perform a wide variety of support in two areas: corrections, in which incumbents ensure the security, safety and care of individuals in custody; and bailiff, in which incumbents ensure the safety and security of the courts and their personnel during court proceedings; and perform related work as assigned. Incumbents may be assigned to either County Jail security or Court security. 

 

About the Sheriff’s Department :

The Yuba County Sheriff's Department is responsible for the administration of the Yuba County Jail and Jail staff. The Mission of the Yuba County Jail is to provide safe, efficient, humane and secure custody of all persons incarcerated. The county prisoner population is made up of those who are sentenced to county jail, those serving state prison sentences in the county jail under AB109, and those who are pre-trial and who have not yet been sentenced. The jail provides a necessary link in the criminal justice system. There are numerous programs operating within the facility including medical, kitchen, exercise, commissary, visiting, law library, inmate education, work programs, work furlough program, and inmate classification.

This position provides support, mentoring, education, skill-building, advocacy, and youth-guided programming to persons receiving services at the Community Drop-In Youth TAY Center located in the Behavioral Health Division at the Glenn County Health and Human Services Agency. The incumbent will work as part of Behavioral Health with the Transition Age Youth Team delivering outreach/engagement and supportive service to youth and families on school campuses, in the community, and/or at the TAY Center. Individuals between the ages of sixteen and twenty-four (16-24) years of age are encouraged to apply. This position is at-will, temporary, part-time and scheduled for up to twenty-five (25) hours per week.  
 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Model unconditional commitment to assisting the TAY consumers in “tough time”, “over the long haul” and to do “whatever it takes” to provide service to the client/consumer.
• Perform group education for clients/consumers and/or support persons and provide ongoing support as needed.
• Be available for TAY consumers, in the event of a crisis, for support.
• Set up, prepare, and plan events for TAY consumers and TAY drop-in center guests.

The County of Yuba is recruiting for both Extra-Help and Full-Time Juvenile Corrections Officers I/II, in an effort to fill current vacancies and expand staffing levels. These positions are located on the Tri-County Youth Rehabilitation Campus which falls under the Juvenile Institutions Division of the Yuba County Probation Department.  The primary responsibilities of this flexibly staffed position are to: provide care, custody, supervision, and control of youth housed in the secured detention facilities while they are pending legal action or serving a post adjudication commitment; ensure and sustain a safe and secure environment for youth; and coordinate counseling and behavior modification activities associated with the operation of the facilities.

 

About Detention Services & Yuba County:

Our Department believes people can change and we can be instrumental in supporting that change.  We are  a small workplace family that supports one another to accomplish our mission and allow our team members to live full lives outside the workplace. Our Campus provides youth detention services to the communities of Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa Counties as well as several contract counties through our Camp Singer program.  We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, and includes the Tri-County Juvenile Hall, Secure Housing Unit, and Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center (Camp Singer), under a Joint Powers Agreement between the three counties. Our Department is the administrative agency responsible for the management and daily operation of the facility. THE POSITION

Tri-City is looking for an individual to serve as a Clinical Therapist I/II for the Adult Full-Service Partnership (FSP). The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of Senior GIS Technician in the Community Development & Services Agency. Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position, occasionally move about inside the office to access supplies and office machinery, frequently communicate and exchange information, review handwritten, electronic and facsimile documents, and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. Required Hours and Location

Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week with some scheduling flexibility. Occasional overtime work in evenings or weekends upon prior approval by supervisor. The position will work out of the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens but may occasionally be required to travel to various other locations. Offices at the River Center are spread among multiple buildings and floors. Remote working or a hybrid schedule may be allowed, subject to supervisor approval.
