Coordinate & Connect:

• Serve as the nexus point between local, state, and federal emergency communication systems.
• Coordinate with 20 cities, 18 unincorporated areas, fire districts, law enforcement, healthcare systems, and community organizations.
• Build relationships with trusted community messengers who can amplify our reach.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts for emergency notification platforms.

• Maintain 24-hour readiness and participate in on-call rotation.

Projects for 2026 include:

• Public Works (Engineering & Operations Support) – Provide support to the City’s Public Works Department across engineering, development review, and capital project delivery. Primary assignment will focus on documenting and improving development review processes, including application completeness and interdepartmental coordination. Secondary assignments may include assisting with capital improvement program tracking, permit review analysis, and evaluation of asset management systems to support more efficient service delivery.

• Public Works (Utilities) – Provide support to the City's Public Works Department - Utilities Division with various engineering projects in drinking water distribution, water resources, sanitary sewer collection, and storm drainage. Primary assignment will focus on mapping and geolocating drinking water facilities to comply with new state regulatory compliance.  Secondary assignments may include field engineering support on construction of capital utility projects and assisting with various engineering reports and studies.

San Mateo Medical Center is currently seeking a professional, goal-oriented full-time, regular (benefited) Clinical Services Manager I who will plan, organize, direct, and supervise the operations of our Medical-Surgical (ADC of 35), Intensive Care Unit (ADC 4), and Infusion Center. As Clinical Services Manager I, you will have the opportunity to manage patient care while ensuring appropriate quality of care and compliance with regulations. In addition, you will participate in training, coaching, and counseling activities and perform other assigned duties.

The Clinical Services Manager I will receive direction from the Chief Nursing Officer/Deputy Director and will exercise direct and indirect supervision over professional, clinical, technical, and clerical staff, including consultants and contract service providers. • Possess a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing with certification in a specialty

Qualifications

Licensure/Certification: Possession of a valid California license as a Registered Nurse (R.N.).  Must possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificates approved by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. 

Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is;

• Three years of professional nursing experience in an accredited hospital or clinic, of which at least one year included responsible supervisory experience, unless otherwise specified below in the additional qualifications.
• Two years of the required experience must have been in acute care and surgical nursing and includes experience in infusion, including chemotherapy, telemetry, antibiotics, blood transfusions and pediatrics.

The San Mateo County Controller's Office is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Application Support Analyst III.

The Controller’s Office

The mission of the Controller’s Office of San Mateo County is to promote the County's operational effectiveness and ensure its financial transparency and integrity by providing quality accounting, audit, and financial reporting services.
   
The Controller's Office maintains the County’s accounting system and records, and prepares independently audited, award-winning annual financial reports (ACFR and PAFR) that disclose the financial condition of the County to the public. We are staffed with 51 full-time accounting, audit, and information systems professionals. The office also calculates annual property tax bill amounts, distribute taxes collected to local government agencies, and performs internal audits of the County’s operations.
  
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Controller’s Information Systems (CIS) team to support various mission-critical applications for the County as they pertain to finance, expense reimbursements, timekeeping, as well as support Countywide system integrations.  
  
As an Application Support Analyst III, you will leverage your systems expertise to collaborate and consult with colleagues within the Controller’s Office and other County fiscal and/or technical staff and resolve issues related to the systems, improve business processes by recommending and implementing solutions within the systems, process requests such as report and integrations development, and maintain application security at both an authentication and application access level.  
  
This role will entail hands-on support, administration, configuration, and maintenance of multiple related financial systems, including Finance Enterprise by CentralSquare for general accounting, Coupa for accounts payable and vendor onboarding, and Workday Expense for employee expense reimbursements.  
 
While the ideal candidate has experience in all of these systems, we are also accepting candidates who have experience and expertise in at least one of the aforementioned systems but can demonstrate transferable skills to learn the other systems and applications.
   

The ideal candidate will also have:

• 5+ years of proven application support and administration experience, preferably in Finance Enterprise, Coupa, and/or Workday Expense.
• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Management of Information Systems, Information Technology, or an equivalent field of study is preferred.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end small to medium-sized application projects and implementing solutions for operational improvements and automation.
• Knowledge of VB Script, SQL, and Cognos (or other reporting platform).

San Mateo County Health is seeking a well-qualified individuals for the position of Environmental Health Specialist IV - Consumer Protection Programs. Environmental Health Specialist will receive general supervision and provide lead direction in performing various countywide environmental health inspection and enforcement activities in one of the several specialized technical areas such as consumer protection, food sanitation, recreational water, water, sewage, land use, and cross connection control; vector control; solid waste; medical waste; and housing and institutions.

San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) is seeking a well-qualified individual for the position of Psychologist I/II-Behavioral Health and Recovery Services. 

There is currently one vacancy on the Central County Adult Mental Health Clinic team in San Mateo.

 

In this position, the psychologist will work as part of a dynamic, multicultural and multidisciplinary team, supporting our culturally diverse San Mateo residents who are diagnosed with a Serious Mental Illnesses and Co-Occurring Disorders.

This Psychologist will conduct admission assessments and evaluation, provide individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, case management, and rehabilitation services to a caseload of adults diagnosed with a serious mental illness.  The Psychologist will also support the psychology doctoral student program and the MSW/MFT graduated internship program at the clinic and provide students with supervision and provide clinical consultation. The Psychologist will work with the team in appropriate discharge planning and coordination of care with other community based organizations.
 
In this position, the psychologist will also administer psychological testing to a small number of clients referred from other BHRS Adult outpatient clinics.

The Position:
The Accountant performs professional work involved in first line supervision of accounting functions, complex account development, maintenance, modification, and reporting. Under direction, the position is responsible for applying generally accepted accounting principles to analyze, maintain, reconcile and verify a variety of budgetary, accounting and other fiscal records. Please note that the California Education Code requires, in part, that community college districts shall not employ or retain in employment persons in public school service who have been convicted of certain felonies, a misdemeanor drug charge (including alcohol offenses) or misdemeanor moral turpitude (sexual offense) crime. However, consideration may be given to those whose drug convictions occurred more than five years ago. A conviction for other crimes may not necessarily disqualify you from the job for which you may be applying.
