The Financial Services Manager assists in planning, organizing, managing, and providing direction and oversight for major functions and activities of the Finance Department. Position Summary

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.  

• Certification in personal training or group fitness instruction required (e.g., ACE, NASM, or other recognized certification).  

• At least one year of experience in fitness instruction, personal training, or a related field preferred.  

• Experience in group instruction and one-on-one training is highly desirable. 

 

Knowledge and Skills

This position requires a knowledge of general fitness principles, exercise techniques, and wellness practices, instructing and motivating individuals or groups in a fitness setting, excellent communication to provide clear instruction and positive feedback and assessing client needs and creating individualized fitness programs. The position also requires ability to operate and maintain fitness equipment safely. 

Special Requirements: 

• Current certification in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

The ideal candidate will be able to develop and manage systems for documenting loan and sponsor health, including risk rating systems. • Assist with all phases of development, including initial financial feasibility analysis, proformas, overseeing design development, securing all necessary financing, procuring and contracting with all third-party consultants, and overseeing construction efforts and timeline for the development of affordable and workforce housing on County-owned land.

DEFINITION
Under direction performs skilled work in several trades in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment on City owned buildings.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
Positions in this class are assigned a variety of tasks in the building trades. Although the work requires the use of journey worker’s tools and the ability to perform operations in several of the crafts, the skills required in any one field is normally less that would be required of a journey worker in that field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES (Responsibilities including but not limited to)

• Painting (patch holes, drywall taping and finishing, caulking, interior painting and exterior painting)
• Electrical (replace light bulbs, ballast, switches and outlets)

The Civil Rights Analyst reports to the Manager, Civil Rights Programs and is responsible for supporting the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and labor compliance programs with data entry, contract compliance, outreach, monitoring, and reporting. • This classification requires the ability to travel independently within and outside of City limits.
• Possession of a Building Permit Technician certification from the International Code Council within the probationary period and throughout employment.
