Water System Worker I

The City of Chowchilla is seeking a Water System Worker I to assist in the operation and maintenance of the City’s water distribution system, including pumps, mains, chlorinators, meters, and other equipment; and perform related work as required on an assigned shift, under the general supervision of the Utilities Systems Supervisor and/or Director of Public Works.
The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking to fill (1) one full-time Maintenance Worker position within the Urban Forestry division and to establish an eligibility list. Duties include but are not limited to: Under supervision performs routine manual labor, maintenance, and repair tasks while learning to perform a full range of semi-skilled work required in maintenance, repair, operations and construction of related facilities, parks, streets, and services; performs other duties as assigned.
Part-time temporary assignment assisting Code Enforcement. This assignment expires at the end of December 2026 or until ARPA funds deplete.
Summary Description
Under immediate supervision performs semi-skilled to skilled maintenance, repair, and construction work assigned to the streets division; operates maintenance and construction tools and equipment; performs a variety of maintenance tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
