The Engineering Manager will provide and participate in critical team leadership in assuring that all engineering services, goals, projects and initiatives meet the high-performance standards of the Department and City. GENERAL INFO 
 

Under general supervision, the Lifeguard/Swim Instructor I/II performs routine public contact and safety work in serving as a pool lifeguard. They also provide essential support to recreation programs and services by performing custodial tasks, event setup and teardown, program support, and minor maintenance duties relating to aquatics. This temporary, parttime position requires working up to 20 hours per week. The role involves ensuring the health and safety of aquatic patrons, facilities are clean, safe, and operational while delivering excellent customer service. Performs other duties as assigned.  

UNIVERSAL POSITION DUTIES (Applicable to all roles; Illustrative Purposes Only) 

• Monitor the swimming pool and enforce safety regulations.

GENERAL INFO

Job Description

Under general medical direction of the site medical director and/or Primary Care Chief Medical Officer, the 2230 Physician Specialist functions within an organized system for the delivery of health care in association with other members of the health care team and performs specialized duties in clinical settings. The Equity and Belonging Manager will work with the Chief Equity Officer in the development and management of innovative and effective strategies to advance the ORSJ’s vision and day-to-day operations. The Equity and Belonging Manager may provide direct and indirect supervision over lower level supervisory, professional, technical, and clerical employees and contractors.

Education and Experience:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in public policy, sociology, education, ethnic studies, public relations, social work, public health, public administration, or a related field, includes trainings and education specific to issues related to racial and social equity. 
• Experience: Five years of experience in the administration of community, public policy, educational, or social and racial justice programs, including at least three years in a supervisory level AND life experience related to interacting with inequitable systems that can provide an integral perspective to the position.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Engineer supervises and participates in the conduct of complicated engineering planning, design, and investigation activities.

Some duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Supervise and participate in the development of designs, plans, specifications, and estimates for the construction of public works projects related to the WWTP.
• Coordinate with contractors, construction managers, construction inspectors, and the design engineers to resolve issues during construction.
