The Position: 

This is a lead role for the City’s Key Customers and the key customer engagement team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our business relationships with key customers, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service and support.

 In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders of major customer accounts while providing administrative and technical support. This position will require strong problem-solving and customer service skills to find and implement solutions. You will work with other departments to improve customer experiences and support, and you will create and share reports and presentations with senior management, highlighting important customer insights. This position will lead direction for assigned professional, technical, and clerical staff and perform work on the more difficult customer accounts as assigned.

Effective December 21, 2025, the salary range for this position will be 135,246.00 – 172,696.44. This position may be filled at or near the minimum of the salary range. 

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Education Requirements: 

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business administration, marketing or a closely related field.

Minimum Experience Requirements: 

Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a utility or business organization where work responsibilities have involved project management, public affairs, and/or marketing. 

Acceptable Substitution: 

• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience may be accepted in-lieu of a bachelor’s degree.  

• A Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. 

License/Certifications: 

Possession of an appropriate, valid California driver's license is required.

Desirable Qualifications: 

Experience supervising assigned professional and other staff is desirable.

Other Requirements:  

May be required to work unusual hours in emergency situations.  Must be able to perform all the essential functions of the job.

The salary range listed above reflects the full compensation potential for this position. Initial placement in the salary range is typically within the first half of the range; however, in certain circumstances (i.e. an experienced lateral candidate) placement at or above the midpoint may be considered. ABOUT THE POSITION
The City of Gilroy Police Department is seeking a highly skilled, detail oriented, and forward-thinking Police Crime Analyst to join our team of dedicated public safety professionals. This critical position plays a key role in helping the department anticipate, understand and respond strategically to crime trends. Your work will directly support smarter policing, improve resource deployment, and ultimately enhance the safety, trust, and quality of life for everyone in our community. You will transform complex data into actionable insights, helping our team make informed decisions. The Police Crime Analyst serves as an internal expert in crime pattern recognition, predicative analytics, and investigative support. 

This is a journey-level, exempt position in which the incumbent works independently, or as part of a team, on professional level work involving significant analytical ability. This position requires both breadth and depth of use of application of theories, concepts, and techniques used, and a thorough understanding of policies and procedures. Under the general direction of a Police Captain and Police Chief, the Crime Analyst will perform the work of reviewing, monitoring, developing and analyzing methods, with special emphasis on related statistical data and computerized systems. The position requires specialized expertise in statistical analysis, systems analysis, and methods analysis.

The Policy Advisor for Public Safety is responsible for tracking and shaping policies related to law enforcement, emergency response services, probation, juvenile justice, and criminal justice reform. About the Position: The Maintenance, Construction, and Resource Supervisor supervises the staff responsible for carrying out capital improvement projects, managing natural resources, and performing general preserve maintenance. The ideal candidate will plan, prioritize, and oversee construction and maintenance work; communicate effectively and collaborate with other departments to complete project requirements; coordinate with consultant teams; work with local and regulatory jurisdictional agencies to meet permitting requirements; evaluate employee performance; and ensure all safety procedures are followed. The position works under the general direction of the Capital Projects Manager or Area Manager and provides direct and general supervision to technical and maintenance staff. Assigned Location: Midpen has one vacancy for the position of Maintenance Supervisor. This is the Capital Projects Maintenance Supervisor and reports to the Capital Projects Field Manager. The start date for this position is early March 2026.  The reporting location is the Foothills Field Office - Cupertino (Address: 501 Rancho San Antonio Drive, Cupertino, CA 95014).  Current work schedule is on site Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., recurring 9/80 Monday day off.

• Possession of, or ability to obtain, the level of certification in the Incident Command System courses as specified under the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a District approved Fire Suppression Training certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze HHSA initiatives and county programs related to the safety net, public health, behavioral health, homeless service, housing development, child welfare, and services for seniors and people with disabilities.

The Multimedia Designer is responsible for shaping the visual identity and public-facing content of the Office of Supervisor Paloma Aguirre. This creative role includes capturing and producing photos and videos, managing graphic design, and overseeing the visual design and functionality of the Supervisor’s website and digital communications. The ideal candidate has strong creative and technical skills and is committed to community-centered storytelling. This position reports to the Director of Communications. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, capture, and edit photography and video content for events, announcements, and social media.
• Design flyers, infographics, reports, and branded materials for public distribution.

The Code Enforcement Officer will respond to citizen concerns and proactively identify violations such as property maintenance issues, and zoning infractions. You will educate the public on code requirements through clear and respectful communication and work collaboratively with other city departments and external agencies to resolve issues. The Code Enforcement Officer is distinguished from the Supervisor by performing work of moderate difficulty and more routine tasks and duties assigned to this position within this classification series. These tasks involve inspections and enforcement of applicable ordinances pertaining to residential and commercial properties, housing, building construction, and other related regulations. Additionally, the Code Enforcement Officer will issue notices, citations, and follow up on compliance efforts in a fair and consistent manner. It is also imperative that the Code Enforcement Officer maintain accurate case files and documentation for possible legal proceedings.
