• Prepare reports and maintain required purchasing records, preparing documentation as needed for Valley Water.
• Execute related duties and responsibilities as required to support the Procurement and Consultant Contracts Unit and Valley Water’s objectives.

The City of Menlo Park is currently accepting applications for a temporary Equipment Mechanic in the Fleet Services Section of the Public Works Department. A temporary equipment mechanic performs diagnostic, maintenance and repair services on light and heavy city vehicles and equipment, such as automobiles, storm/sewer trucks, aerial bucket trucks, dump trucks shuttle buses, construction equipment, lawn mowers, small equipment and stationary generators; and performs other duties as assigned.

The temporary equipment mechanic performs a range of skilled tasks requiring journey level mechanical ability and aptitude. The San Bruno Police Department

Typical Qualifications

• Academy graduates whose academy completion exceeds thirty (30) months may be considered if they have completed or agree to complete the POST Requalification Course prior to appointment.

The City of Santa Clara is recruiting for the Electric Utility Chief Operating Officer for its Electric Utility, Silicon Valley Power (SVP).  Reporting to the Chief Electric Utility Officer (CEUO), the Electric Utility Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior management position in the City's unclassified service responsible for the oversight and direction for the fiscal, administrative, and managerial operations of the utility. The COO has supervisory and support responsibilities for the utility's divisions: Utility Operations, Customer Development and Project Management, Resource Planning and Customer Engagement, and Business Services. The COO will help guide SVP through the extraordinary period of growth related by doubling the existing capacity of the electrical system to meet new customer demands over the next 10 years. In addition to the expansion, the COO will work to ensure new renewable resources are added to meet the City's and State’s climate goals. The COO is responsible for forecasting service requirements and for planning, organizing and directing assigned resources of the electric utility division in order to meet those requirements.
