DESCRIPTION 

The City is seeking a strategic and collaborative IT Manager to join the newly established IT Department! In this key leadership role, you will oversee the City’s infrastructure and operations division, including cybersecurity, information systems, data center, network infrastructure, and help desk, while guiding technology strategy that supports operations across all departments.  

The position is responsible for managing IT staff, system implementations and upgrades, partnering in the development of long-term technology plans, and ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader with strong technical expertise, project management experience, and the ability to partner with the Chief Technology Officer and Deputy Chief Technology Officer to implement technology solutions that improve operations and service delivery. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop and implement IT strategic plans, policies, and procedures to support citywide information systems and departmental priorities. 

• Lead, supervise, and evaluate IT staff, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions when necessary. 

• Oversee the City’s cybersecurity infrastructure and education plan 

• Oversee systems development, implementation, and maintenance of hardware, software, applications, and data processing services across City departments. 

• Coordinate IT initiatives with internal departments and external agencies to improve system integration, service delivery, and technology utilization. 

• Advise City leadership on technology strategy, system requirements, and feasibility of IT solutions. 

• Develop short- and long-term plans for technology infrastructure, including hardware and software upgrades, and modernization initiatives. 

• Manage and administer the budget, including forecasting staffing, equipment, software, and operational needs. 

• Monitor IT service performance and operational efficiency, recommending improvements to service delivery methods. 

• Oversee system design, installation, implementation, and conversion to new technologies.

DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking a collaborative, service-oriented individual to conduct a variety of code compliance duties with competence and professionalism. The Code Compliance Officer I/II will be responsible for conducting inspections and investigations pertaining to violations of the municipal code provisions in zoning ordinances, sanitary regulations, business license regulations, building standards and nuisance abatement ordinances.  The Code Compliance Officer I/II must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be self-directed, exercise discretion, and excellent judgment. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Conduct technical field inspections and investigations to determine compliance of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings with zoning ordinances, conditions of zoning variance, special use, and other conditioned permits
• Receive and investigate public concerns; conduct on-site inspections and determine existence and type of code violations
• Prepare cases for court proceedings and legal review, mediation, warrants, etc. in coordination with the City Attorney's Office
• Testify or represent the City as a subject matter expert in court actions, depositions, and proceedings as necessary
• Issue corrective notices, administrative citations, and orders to comply with code violations; interpret and explain municipal codes and ordinances to members of the public, contractors, business owners, and other interested groups

The City of Dixon is excited to announce the recruitment for a Public Works Director. The Public Works Director will play a critical leadership role during a period of elevated development activity and organizational transition. This position requires a hands-on leader who can maintain momentum on existing initiatives while advancing new priorities across Public Works, Engineering, and land development functions.

This is an exempt, "at-will" senior management position directly responsible to the City Manager.  Salary is negotiated within salary range depending on qualifications.

The City of Thousand Oaks Public Works Department is seeking an Assistant Analyst to support the Sustainability Division in advancing the City’s sustainability and energy initiatives. This position plays a key role in managing and analyzing complex data related to energy, water, waste, and electric vehicle infrastructure, while supporting implementation of the Climate and Environmental Action Plan (CEAP).

The Assistant Analyst assists with benchmarking, reporting, GIS mapping, and coordination of external energy programs, as well as contract development and tracking funding opportunities to ensure compliance and maximize program impact. Through public outreach, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement efforts, this role helps advance innovative solutions that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, and the City’s long-term sustainability and environmental goals.

SALARY 

The anticipated hiring range for the Assistant Analyst position is $80,594 - $100,743 annually, with a full salary range up to $120,892. The City typically makes offers within the hiring range based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. 
 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Support in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing sustainability data, including energy, water, waste, and EV charging
• Assist with the development of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for internal and public use
• Support sustainability benchmarking, ongoing reporting, and greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory updates
• Assist with CEAP implementation through data updates, progress tracking, KPI reporting, and documentation
• Provide GIS mapping support for EV charging, solar installations, energy use intensity, and retrofit prioritization
• Coordinate the City’s participation in regional and utility energy programs (e.g., SoCalREN, C3 REN, SCE), including scheduling, reporting, incentive tracking, and partner meetings
• Assist with contract development and administration for EV charging, energy efficiency, solar, and battery storage projects, including procurement support and performance tracking
• Research and report on grants, incentives, rebates, and regulatory changes related to energy and transportation electrification
• Monitor EV charger performance and coordinate with vendors on maintenance, outages, and software issues
• Support public outreach efforts, including workshops, educational materials, and website updates
• Coordinate with contractors, utilities, regional partners, and consultants to track deliverables and resolve issues
• Assist with grant application development, including data collection, narrative drafting, and deadline tracking
• Track emerging technologies, best practices, and tools that support municipal sustainability goals

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team!  As an Administrative Aide (Part-time, Hourly City Worker), you will interact with a broad range of customers and play an important role in delivering extraordinary customer service to City residents and customers.  The Administrative Aide will serve as a primary contact for City departments and maintain positive and professional customer relationships by responding promptly to inquiries and finding solutions.  

The Administrative Aide (Hourly City Worker) is a part-time, hourly, at-will position that involves working approximately 15-25 hours per week, not to exceed 29 hours in a week, or 1000 hours per fiscal year (July 1st to June 30th).  

Exact working hours will vary depending on the department or work location and will be between Monday - Friday. We currently have three openings at City Hall: one in the City Manager’s Office, one in the Community Development department, and one in the Transit division of the Public Works department.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

• Provide clerical and administrative support for assigned department
