THE POSITION
To monitor City facilities during programs and rentals; to open and close facilities; to set up and take down equipment; to provide information and assistance to the public in person and on the phone; to perform general administrative tasks when assigned; to perform certain custodial duties; to ensure user compliance with policies, regulations, and laws pertaining to facility use; and to perform other duties as assigned. As a Lifeguard, you'll be responsible for keeping swimmers safe both in and around the water, as well as teaching swimming lessons. All applicants will receive training in swim lesson instruction. No prior experience is required, and athletes outside of swim teams and water polo are encouraged to apply!
