The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Senior Fiscal Analyst in the State Budget unit of the Budget Services Sacramento office.

The Senior Fiscal Analyst provides advanced, complex, and specialized analytical and technical budget support to the Judicial Council Facilities Services Capital Outlay program. This position provides fiscal oversight for capital outlay projects and manages the ongoing project close-out activities. Fiscal oversight responsibilities include analyzing and preparing statewide budget reports for management, controlling capital outlay appropriations, reviewing and coding requisitions, preparing and reviewing Capital Outlay budget change proposals (COBCPs), reviewing the updated five-year capital outlay plan, and managing the bond sale process. The position conducts monthly fiscal forecasting for each project by appropriation, line item, and category of expense, that are completed three times a year for every project. The position is also responsible for ensuring project compliance with appropriation availability periods, recommends reappropriations when needed, forecasts cash flow to ensure cash flow loans remain sufficient and advises Facilities Services staff on project scope, cost, and budget changes during the bi-monthly budget meetings with Facilities Services management.

This position prepares and review materials required by the State Public Works Board and the Department of Finance for the ongoing phases of Capital Outlay projects, including memos, fiscal displays, and agenda items. These package submissions are done approximately eight times annually. The role also updates and escalates project costs for Executive staff to support accurate advocacy for project funding. In addition, the position manages the twice-yearly bond sales process, a 3.5 month cycle involving extensive preparation, detailed bond document review, meeting participation, and coordination with the Judicial Council Facilities Program, Department of Finance, the State Treasurer’s Office, Judicial Council Legal services, and the tenant courts. The position also prepares and reviews budget documents and fiscal displays containing Capital Outlay budget data for inclusion in the budget galley, published three times per year, and provides backup support to other areas within the State Budget Unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare complex technical budget documents associated with the development of Judicial Branch’s annual budget in accordance with Department of Finance Budget Letters and other guidelines.
• Develop and maintain budget reports and memos, tables, and trackers.
• Review and preparation of SPWB project action package and interface with DOF staff.
• Prepare and review COBCPs and other fiscal documentation to build budget galley.
• Project manage interim cash flow loans and bond sale process for the inclusion of the judicial branch in statewide bond sales for new money and refinancing of current debt.
• Prepare documentation and consult with the Facilities Program to understand cash flow needs of each capital outlay project to ensure successful completion of capital outlay projects. Support Facilities related activities.
• Track legislative budget hearings and budget enactment.
• Coordinate tracking and review of legislation impacting the branch and prepare fiscal analyses for proposed legislation as assigned.
• Meet with Facilities Services management bi-monthly to brief them on fiscal issues of concern for the program.

DEFINITION
Under general direction, performs complex and responsible technical and clerical work for the Director of Human Resources and as administrative support to the City's Human Resources Department. Completes related work as required.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
An incumbent in this position is a Human Resources generalist performing a wide range of personnel assignments in administering and processing health and welfare benefits; managing the administrative duties associated with the Personnel Board and overseeing the preparation and management of all employee requisition and action forms; managing the office and providing administrative support to the Director of Human Resources, Assistant to the Director of Human Resources, Senior Management Analyst, the Human Resources Analyst(s) and Human Resources Specialist(s).

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Including but not limited to maintaining frequent, sensitive and critical contacts with public and private agencies, other departments, professionals and officials; transmits information, decisions and directives. Serves as Assistant for the Personnel Board, other related meetings, and disciplinary and appeal hearings by collecting, preparing, and sending agendas, taking and transcribing minutes, and typing and distributing minutes and other material. Processes and manages distribution retiree health reimbursement checks. Administers Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Program, tracks employee driving records and issues quarterly department list of commercial drivers’ medical expirations. May assist in responding to internal and external surveys. May assist department personnel with data entry on applicant tracking program, proctoring Civil Service examinations, in administering certification of active Civil Service Employment Lists using applicant tracking program, and assists with City-wide events. Processes employee separations and cafeteria plan worksheets, enters employee information into ERP system, tracks employee trainings; and processes invoices.

Provides support to the Director of Human Resources, Assistant to the Director of Human Resources, Senior Management Analyst, Human Resources Analyst(s) and Human Resources Specialist(s). Administers the documentation requirements of the 1986 Immigration and Control Act. Prepares and processes required Human Resources’ forms, such as new employee forms and employee Action Forms. Assists with preparation and publication of the employee newsletter. Maintains and orders office supplies and other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

San Mateo County Health's Aging and Disability Services Division is seeking qualified individuals for the unclassified and limited-term positions of In-Home Supportive Services Social Worker I/II/III. Social Workers provide a wide variety of welfare services in such areas as information and referral, protective services, out-of-home services, health related services, chore services, and other welfare services within the Health and the Human Services Agency.

 
Currently, there are three limited-term vacancies and an unclassified vacancy in the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program. The program provides in-home care for persons who cannot safely remain in their own home without such assistance. The recipients of IHSS are aged, blind and/or disabled and eligible for Medi-Cal. Disabled and/or blind minor children may also be eligible for IHSS. The Social Worker will make a home visit to determine eligibility for the program and to conduct an assessment to determine a range of service hours for particular tasks. The IHSS recipient or guardian is the IHSS employer and is responsible for hiring and supervising a provider for the care they receive. The Social Worker will travel throughout the County to conduct home visits, attend meetings and perform other duties of the position. The Social Worker will work in the San Mateo, CA Aging and Disability Services Office.
 

This IHSS Social Worker will conduct intake and/or on-going activities for IHSS recipients. Some of those activities include:

• Conduct initial IHSS assessments using a detailed State assessment tool.
• Complete necessary documents, paperwork, and work within different information technology systems.
• Conduct annual reassessments.
• Educate, support, and perform administrative duties for IHSS recipients and care providers to understand/comply with program regulations.
• Provide education, outreach, and community resources information.
• Participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and program integrity to ensure proper adherence to regulations.
• Prepare for and attend Fair Hearings.

Social Workers provide highly skilled, intensive casework services to individuals and their families and provide casework consultation within the department and to outside agencies.  Incumbents of positions at this level work with minimal supervision and are expected to have acquired the high degree of assessment skills required to perform care coordination and referral tasks in complex casework areas. Lead supervisory responsibilities may be assigned as circumstances dictate.

NOTE: This is an unclassified position. Unclassified positions are at-will for a limited duration, typically associated with grant or other special funding. The Position

Reporting directly to the City Manager, the Administrative Services Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the City’s Human Resources and Information Technology Divisions.

The Director plays a critical role in shaping Belmont’s organizational future—championing initiatives that build workforce capability, strengthen digital infrastructure, and advance a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation.

The Team

The Administrative Services Department has 8 FTE's - (1) Administrative Services Director, (2) IT Business System Analysts, (1) GIS Coordinator, (1) IT Manager, (1) Principal Management Analyst (HR Manager), (1) HR Management Analyst II and (1) Administrative Assistant.

The City of Redwood City is offering exciting opportunities to support local youth through after-school programs at various school sites. We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated Program Leader II’s to join our team!

In this role, you will:

• Lead the planning and facilitation of diverse, enriching youth activities
• Inspire student engagement through health, recreation, and service projects
• Develop activity calendars and lesson plans that foster growth, learning, and leadership

This position will report directly to the Recreation and Community Service Program Coordinator.  position, gaining hands-on experience in youth development. This part-time position offers

20–28 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the 2025–2026 school year (August to June, depending on site assignment).
