The Substance Use Disorder Counselor I/II position is located in the Behavioral Health division at the Health and Human Services Agency. This position performs a variety of para-professional and responsible eligibility determination and case management duties for alcohol and drug programs, including crisis services to individuals; and performs related duties as assigned. The Substance Use Disorder Counselor II is the full journey-level class within series and performs the full range of duties as assigned, responsible for direct client contact in the provision of case management including complex cases. This position is scheduled for forty (40) hours per week.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Performs client intake procedures, eligibility determinations and establishes case loads and services for programs in drug and alcohol, specialized programs, grant funded programs, and other health and human services programs.
• Maintains Glenn County drug and alcohol specialized programs, grant funded programs caseloads under the supervision of a health services program coordinator or HHSA program manager.
• Communicates with clients; determines eligibility, educates clients regarding various health services, social services, grant funded and specialized programs and recommends other sources of services for those not eligible.
• Tracks, documents, and prepares information for appropriate billing for services; maintains established productivity rates for a variety of health services programs.

The Fiscal Analyst I/II/III position at the Glenn County Community Action Division, performs varied and complex professional accounting and financial analysis work relating to various grants and programs; fiscal and contract management; fiscal program analysis and compliance; prepares analytical, narrative, statistical, accounting and financial reports; develops and monitors budgets; prepares financial statements and reports, and related duties as assigned. Fiscal Analyst II is the journey-level classification in the series and is distinguished from the Fiscal Analyst I by the responsibility and working independently with minimal supervision. Fiscal Analyst III is the advanced level and supervisory classification in the series, and is distinguished from Fiscal Analyst I/II by the performance of the most complex accounting and analytical work within the assigned department. Fiscal Analyst II: $28.64-$34.81 per hour

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Provides information for and prepares periodic accounting, fiscal reports, and analysis to internal units, federal, state, and local agencies and/or to private auditing firms as required by governing agencies. 
• Prepares reports and analysis on accounting activities relating to funds, grants, and programs. 
• Prepares various financial statements including worksheets, balance sheets, income statements, statements of cash flow, adjusting and closing balance sheets, depreciation schedules, allocation schedules, and cost reports.
• Monitors the status of various grants including analyzing the availability of funds, reviewing expenditures, and ensuring that activities comply with grant regulations.
• Participates in budget development and administration for a variety of department budgets; prepares cost estimates for budget recommendations; monitors and controls expenditures.

The County of Yuba is recruiting for both Extra-Help and Full-Time Juvenile Corrections Officers I/II, in an effort to fill current vacancies and expand staffing levels. These positions are located on the Tri-County Youth Rehabilitation Campus which falls under the Juvenile Institutions Division of the Yuba County Probation Department.  The primary responsibilities of this flexibly staffed position are to: provide care, custody, supervision, and control of youth housed in the secured detention facilities while they are pending legal action or serving a post adjudication commitment; ensure and sustain a safe and secure environment for youth; and coordinate counseling and behavior modification activities associated with the operation of the facilities.

About Detention Services & Yuba County:

Our Department believes people can change and we can be instrumental in supporting that change.  We are  a small workplace family that supports one another to accomplish our mission and allow our team members to live full lives outside the workplace. Our Campus provides youth detention services to the communities of Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa Counties as well as several contract counties through our Camp Singer program.  We operate 24 hours a day, 365 days per year, and includes the Tri-County Juvenile Hall, Secure Housing Unit, and Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center (Camp Singer), under a Joint Powers Agreement between the three counties. Our Department is the administrative agency responsible for the management and daily operation of the facility. The County of Yuba is currently recruiting for the position of Senior GIS Technician in the Community Development & Services Agency. Examples of Duties:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

State of California Drinking Water Treatment Certifications (Grade 1 or 2) desirable. Must possess and maintain a valid California non-commercial (Class C) driver's license, and have a satisfactory driving record. Must possess sufficient strength and stamina to lift and carry objects weighing up to 80 pounds and be able to perform sustained heavy physical labor. Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on off-hour shifts in emergency situations.

Program Assistant - Receptionist

Salary Range: $18.52 - $30.68/hour, depending on experience.

DEFINITION

Perform a wide variety of general clerical and/ or operational support duties at the Danville Community Center and/ or Senior Center. Incumbent serves as the facility receptionist, assisting with customer service-related questions and issues, and directing callers and visitors according to established procedures.
 

• This is a part-time temporary, non-benefitted position.
• 0-20 hours per week; not-to-exceed 950 hours per calendar year.

SUPERVISION

Direct supervision is received from the Administrative Assistant with indirect supervision from the Recreation Superintendent. May exercise supervision of part-time personnel and volunteers as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Essential duties are inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

The Veterinary Technician will assist in the care of animal patients at the City’s animal shelter. Additional key responsibilities include use of medical care equipment, as well as moving and handling domestic animals and wildlife. The Veterinary Technician reports to the Animal Services Manager and assists the veterinarian, animal services officers and administrative team and is responsible for quality humane treatment of all animals in the care of the Tri-City Animal Shelter.
