The City of Dixon is actively recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Department of Engineering/Utilities. The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and reviewing engineering work related to the design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of public works projects. The role also includes the dynamic responsibilities of transportation planning, supervisions of contracts/projects, and management for the successful operation of the City’s wet utilities (water, sewer, and drainage). Candidates selected for hire must successfully complete and pass the following: a personal background investigation, and a pre-employment medical examination. All appointees are required to successfully complete a 12-month probationary period, and in accordance with Federal law, are to provide proof of identity and proof that they may legally work in the United States.

The City of Dixon is looking to fill one full-time, regular position of Accountant in the Finance Department. This position performs professional level accounting functions such as recording and reporting financial transactions, review of financial records; provides fiscal control for assigned areas of operation, preparation of financial report statements and analyzes. This is not a remote position and work schedule will be Monday through Friday, onsite.

Accountant - This classification is the entry level, mid-management position in the accounting series. Professional level work is performed, and incumbents are expected to perform the full range of accounting duties with minimal supervision. Successful performance in this position requires a thorough knowledge of governmental accounting procedures and the ability to exercise sound judgement within established guidelines.

The Authority is currently recruiting for a part-time position of Environmental Stormwater Inspector to support the West Valley cities/Town stormwater inspection programs. These programs help protect our waterways and the San Francisco Bay by ensuring that businesses and residents are implementing best management practices to prevent water pollution and are in compliance with federal and local water quality regulations.

The Authority is currently working to advance multiple stormwater initiatives, such as trash reduction and controls for pollutants of concern, such as mercury and PCBs. The Environmental Stormwater Inspector may support these initiatives. An Environmental Stormwater Inspector also responds to complaints of illegal discharges

We’re looking for a creative and organized professional to take on the role of Senior Library Assistant. You will join a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, providing youth focused services within the Youth, Bookmobile and Collections Division. This position receives direction from Senior Librarian, may exercise direct supervision over other assigned office support staff and builds relationships throughout the organization. What You'll Do:

• Provide administrative support to all those in Division.
• Promote library services at outreach and bookmobile events as assigned.
• Answer reader’s advisory and general reference questions for a wide range of youth literature, resources andmaterials.
• Use planning, analytical, and technical skills to work on special projects.
• Support library events and programs.
• Work with library team to provide a safe and welcoming environment
• Support of safety protocols.
• Work both independently and with a team to accomplish goals.

The Essentials:

Senior Library Assistant

• Two years of experience performing paraprofessional or technical duties in a library setting equivalent to a Library Assistant II or Library Technician in the City of Mountain View.
• Education equivalent to an associate of arts degree.

Bonus Points:

• May need to possess a valid California Class C Driver License as required by the position.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is highly desirable.
• Bi-lingual skills in Spanish, Chinese or Russian.
