THE POSITION
Tri-City Mental Health Authority is currently hiring to fill one (1) full-time vacancy for the position of Clinical Supervisor I/II within the Mobile Crisis Care Program (MCCP). Tri-City’s MCCP is a 24/7 mobile crisis response team with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and holidays.
The MCCP Clinical Supervisor I/II will be part of a team that provides crisis intervention and stabilization, linkage and referral, consultation, and education within the scope of practice. The MCCP Clinical Supervisor I/II will report to the Mobile Crisis Care Clinical Program Manager.
This position is responsible for a variety of ongoing responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Respond to client (Full-Service Partnership and Adult and Children’s Outpatient Programs and other specialty mental health services) crisis calls with or without law enforcement;
- Perform field-based and telephone emergency mental health evaluations and crisis stabilization in accordance with agency procedure.
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals, groups, and families;
- Identify treatment needs and make appropriate referrals for necessary services;
- Perform triage and linkages to non-client community members in the Tri-City catchment areas.
- The Clinical Supervisor incumbent must be available for consultation during and following crisis calls as well as to fill in when back-up is needed in the field during scheduled work hours.
