The City of Dixon is actively recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Department of Engineering/Utilities. The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and reviewing engineering work related to the design, construction, inspection, and maintenance of public works projects. The role also includes the dynamic responsibilities of transportation planning, supervisions of contracts/projects, and management for the successful operation of the City’s wet utilities (water, sewer, and drainage). SELECTION PROCEDURE:

EXAM PROCESS:

EMPLOYMENT PROCESSING:
Candidates selected for hire must successfully complete and pass the following: a personal background investigation, and a pre-employment medical examination. All appointees are required to successfully complete a 12-month probationary period, and in accordance with Federal law, are to provide proof of identity and proof that they may legally work in the United States.
