How You Will Make an Impact:

The Santa Clara County Housing Authority (SCCHA) is seeking an Asset Management Coordinator to support the agency's affordable housing initiatives and asset management goals. The Coordinator handles a mix of technical and administrative tasks, including responding to inquiries, researching and compiling information, and managing specialized reporting projects. Additionally, the role involves tracking and reconciling financial, operational, and statistical records. The Coordinator also provides confidential support to management, staff, and various boards. This position assists with onboarding new hires and manages office arrangements for team members. It's a dynamic position requiring a mix of organizational skills and attention to detail.

This position requires knowledge of asset management, property maintenance, construction project management, capital planning and systems management, budget preparation, and financial modeling to analyze portfolio performance. 

What Our Team Is Looking For: 

Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience likely to provide the required core competencies may be considered. A typical combination that is qualifying may include: 

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in community development, business, economics, urban planning, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field; and

A minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience performing asset management, real estate development, property management, and/or construction management functions.

Certification as a California Notary public is desirable.

Certifications in Section 8 and LIHTC compliance, Fair Housing and Excel experience is desirable.

Possession of a valid California Driver's License and satisfactory driving record at the time of appointment is required as a condition of initial and continued employment only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than the employee's ability to get to/from various work locations promptly, is necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.

The Burlingame Public Library is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Special Collections Intern to assist with the assessment, development, and strategic planning of the Library’s Special Collections. This internship provides hands-on experience in archival evaluation, policy development, and collection management—ideal for graduate students pursuing careers in Library Science, Archival Studies, or Museum Studies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct an inventory and condition assessment of selected Special Collections materials
• Evaluate holdings by topic/theme, physical condition, and space constraints
• Contribute to the creation of a Special Collections component for the Collection Development Policy
• Assist in defining the scope and purpose of the Special Collections
• Research and analyze collection strengths, weaknesses, and growth opportunities

• Benchmark the Special Collections against best practices and peer institutions
• Draft guidelines for the acquisition and withdrawal of items
• Collaborate with library staff to define collection priorities and future directions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The City of Redwood City Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department invites you to apply for the casual position of Human Services Assistant at the Fair Oaks Community Center (FOCC). Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Service Office Assistants will have a minimum of one year of general clerical, office assistant, phone services, or computer experience. At least one election cycles worth of experience in Candidate Filing is preferred as well.
 
Critical Skills include the ability to prioritize work, coordinate several activities organize, and maintain accurate files and records, and understand and carry out oral and written directions. As an Office Assistant it is also integral to have a positive attitude and demonstrate good leadership to assist other members of the team and help ensure day to day operations run smoothly.
 
Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. These positions may require weekend and evening work assignments. The selected individuals must be available for the entire employment period until the completion of their assignment.
