The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking to fill a Full-Time Environmental Compliance Specialist position.
Under general supervision, assists and coordinate assigned environmental compliance programs including industrial waste pretreatment, Fats Oils and Grease (FOG), storm water, water conservation and/or recycling programs within the department; coordinates assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies and the general public; and provides staff assistance.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
The City of Patterson is recruiting for a Firefighter. This safety position will respond to fire alarms, emergency medical calls, traffic accidents, rescue and other emergency calls to protect life and property. This position will also participate in trainings, drills, study activities and in the maintenance of the department apparatus, equipment and facilities. Under the supervision of the Fire Engineer or Fire Captain, provides first responder medical emergency at the basic life support level. Performs other duties as required.

This position will also participate in trainings, drills, study activities and in the maintenance of the department apparatus, equipment and facilities. Under the supervision of the Fire Engineer or Fire Captain, performs advanced life support (ALS) care to patients of medical emergencies and other medical procedures. Performs other duties as required.
$5,000 Signing Bonus
There is a 4% COLA that will be effective the first full pay period of July 2023, 2024, and 2025. Sworn staff have the option of contributing the unused health insurance balance to a 457 or taxable cash of unused balance (up to $670/month).
