The Dixon Police Department is opening positions for a Police Recruit to attend the Police Academy. The “Police Recruit” classification at the City of Dixon Police Department provides a unique opportunity for candidates to be sponsored through a P.O.S.T. certified basic academy during regular academy hours and any other scheduled departmental and academy exercise and activities.
