SENIOR RECREATION LEADER

Part-time Position

Summary Description

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor/coordinator, the Senior Recreation Leader is responsible for implementing programs at a given site, including administering program curriculum and supervising program staff.  This is an at-will, intermittent, part-time, hourly wage position without City-paid benefits.  Work a flexible work schedule, which may include evening, weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Representative Duties

This position will perform a variety of responsible law enforcement and crime prevention work, including patrolling assigned areas, answering calls and complaints, investigating crimes, serving civil papers, and providing court room security; enforce all federal and state laws and local ordinances related to public safety and welfare.

Exercise sound judgment in addressing behavior problems.

Establish and maintain a respectful and courteous working relationship with participants, volunteers, staff and those contacted in the course of work.

Qualifications

Bocce Referee
As a Sausalito Parks and Recreation Bocce Referee, you are responsible for set-up, management, and cleanup of scheduled Bocce matches. Event Staff

Applications that meet the minimum qualifications will be placed on the eligible list and forwarded to the hiring manager for consideration.   Applicants reaching the eligible list will be notified of their status.   Once on the eligible list, you may or may not receive a call to interview.   Interviews will depend on the number of positions available and the answers to the supplemental questions.

Temporary positions receive no benefits except as required by law.  Employees in this position will be eligible after 30 days of employment for California paid sick leave.
