THE POSITION
The City of Redwood City invites you to apply for the position of Permits Technician. Under supervision of the Senior Building Inspector/Permit Counter Supervisor, the Permits Technician is responsible for processing a variety of permits; and providing general information to the public at the public counter and by telephone. The Permits Technician is an integral member of Redwood City’s Counter Team.
The City of Foster City is looking for a Building/Fleet Maintenance Superintendent who will oversee the Building and Fleet Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, reviewing, and evaluating diverse and specialized building and fleet maintenance and repair functions.
The Central County Fire Department is seeking a dynamic, community-focused Emergency Management Program Manager to plan, organize, coordinate, implement, and maintain a comprehensive emergency management and disaster mitigation program for the City of Burlingame and the Town of Hillsborough (“agencies”); develop, coordinate and implement training and exercises for agency employees; develop and maintain community-based programs for mitigating community risk; and provide expert professional assistance to the agencies’ executive management staff.
