This position performs a variety of para-professional, case management duties, and performs related duties as assigned in the adult and youth and family Mental Health Units, along with providing crisis services. The HHSA Case Manager II is distinguished from the HHSA Case Manager I by the performance of the full range of duties as assigned and is responsible for the provision of case management including complex cases. • Maintains close, collaborative and cooperative relationships with community agencies, social workers, local law enforcement and other public agencies carrying out treatment and educational plans; provides information to other County departments and agencies.
• Provides case management through individual or group rehab methods for children and/or adults for a variety of health services programs and services.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Under the general direction, the PEO performs a variety of law enforcement support duties, with the majority of responsibilities involving enforcement of parking regulations. The PEO performs technical field and office work to enforce appropriate codes, laws, and regulations and to execute related programs pertaining to on-street and off-street public parking within the City of Mill Valley.

Examples of Essential Duties (include but are not limited to):

• Patrol assigned routes on foot and/or driving a parking enforcement vehicle.

• Collect coins deposited in meters.

• Provide assistance and general information related to permit areas to a diverse population.
• Explain code and policy requirements.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot computer programs, software and other related equipment used to perform required duties.
• Set up and remove barricades and temporary signs.

The Department

The Parks and Recreation Department is the third largest department in the City and is organized by program area, with each program administered by a supervisor, coordinator, or specialist. The Parks and Recreation Department is composed of a Director and 22 full-time management positions. The department is comprised of the Recreation, Community Services, Parks, Facilities and Common Greens divisions.

The Parks Division is in charge of planning and maintaining the City’s parks, playgrounds, sports fields, and other landscaping and performs a wide range of tasks in order to care for City parks and open spaces. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
