The Executive Director will serve as a visionary leader for the organization and is responsible for coordinating and expanding various mental health services, ensuring team members are meeting desirable outcomes and providing excellence in service to the communities. They will direct the development of organization-wide goals, policies, and procedures and keep the Governing Board aware of financial conditions, program progress, and the organization’s needs. This job requires financial savvy and organizational development expertise. Implementing strategic plans is essential for this role, as it involves spearheading innovative change. Additionally, the Executive Director must be able to provide policy guidance and ensure compliance with governmental regulations. They will also serve as a representative of TCMHA in meetings with governmental agencies, community groups, and other key stakeholders.

We are seeking a knowledgeable Mechanic I/II with hands-on automotive experience to join our Public Works Maintenance Division. Ability to hire at Mechanic I or Mechanic II level based on relevant experience. Under supervision (Mechanic I) or general supervision (Mechanic II), participates in the more complex and difficult work of staff responsible for maintaining and repairing City vehicles and equipment; maintains and repairs gasoline, diesel powered, compressed natural gas (CNG), and electric automotive, heavy and light construction, and other power-driven equipment; and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.

• Salary range for Mechanic I $23.28 - $29.73 hourly with Excellent Benefits

Minimum Qualifications for consideration are:

Education:

Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training in mechanical repair or a related field.  

Experience:

Mechanic I: One year of experience performing minor and major equipment repairs.

Mechanic II: Two years of experience performing minor and major equipment repair duties including experience in the maintenance of both diesel and gas powered equipment.

License/Certificate:

Possession of, or ability to obtain within six months of employment, a valid California Class A driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement. Possession of ASE certifications are desirable.

Role description

Under general supervision, an Employee Assistance Counselor provides clinical assessment, short-term counseling and referral of City and County employees experiencing difficulties related to personal or work-related problems, such as stress, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, emotional concerns or relationship issues. A Counselor conducts seminars, trainings, and consultations on issues related to personal and organizational wellness; prepares records and reports; and performs related duties as required.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Provides clinical assessment, short-term counseling and referral services to employees of the City and County who are experiencing difficulties related to personal or work-related problems, such as stress, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, emotional concerns or relationship issues; provides counseling of family members and significant others as appropriate.
2. Facilitates seminars and trainings for employees and management on personal, interpersonal and organizational issues such as the effective management of stress, anger and emotions, workplace negativity and dealing with difficult people.
3. Assists in evaluation efforts to determine the effectiveness of services provided.
4. Educates employees, supervisors and managers regarding EAP service offerings, how to access services, early identification of personal and workplace problems, and referrals to the program.
5. Provides trauma response, crisis intervention and mediation/conflict resolution services as requested.
6. Collects client and program data for tracking, conducts analysis, and prepares related records and reports as requested.
7. May include additional duties as assigned.

The City of San José is recruiting for a Business Automation and Development Services Supervising Applications Analyst (SAA) in the Business Automation and Development Services Division of the Information Technology Department. The position requires a highly motivated and self-driven individual to lead a team responsible for the City's Permitting and Compliance System (Granicus GovService Amanda platform), Public Web Portal, Records Management System, Electronic Plan Review System (ProjectDox from Avolve), Business Intelligence System, Queue Management System, and Digital Inspection System. The position will oversee new technology implementations, enhancements, integrations, reports, and application upgrades for all Development Services systems. This position requires strong technical hands-on experience and leadership skills, as well as the ability to take initiative and direct others in an ever-changing business and technical environment.

The ideal candidate will have solid information management experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong management skills, strong collaboration skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and issues. Parks Maintenance Supervisor

THE POSITION:

The City of San Rafael Public Works Department is seeking a full-time Parks Maintenance Supervisor.   This position will supervise and perform work in park maintenance, such as mowing, irrigation, pruning, planting, cleaning, improvement and repair of City parks, recreational areas, park buildings, street islands, swimming pools and related facilities.  Work includes setting priorities, assigning and reviewing the work of crew members.   

UPCOMING PROJECTS:

• Construction begins this fall on a new synthetic turf field at Al Boro Community Center.  The Parks Department will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the field after installation.  This is the only synthetic turf field in our park system.  Developing a proper maintenance schedule will be crucial to ensure the longevity of the highly used field.
• The Parks Department is working on a better maintenance solution to the tree wells and tree grates along the downtown corridor.  Many of the trees are outgrowing the tree grates, causing damage to the trees and potential trip hazards for the pedestrians.  The Park Department is exploring options, including installation of porous rubber pavement surfaces. 
• Asset Management software is coming to the maintenance divisions in Public Works to help better manage the maintenance schedules of all of the city-owned assets.  Assisting with the software into the daily routines will be an expectation of Supervisor. 

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is familiar with San Rafael and the different areas it encompasses.
• Has knowledge and experience in all aspects of park and street maintenance.
• Has knowledge and/or experience in assessing tree issues.  ISA certification is a plus.
• Has knowledge and/or experience in California Department of Pesticide Regulations.  QAL or PCA certification is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with suite of Microsoft Office products.
• Good customer service with the ability to work with the public in difficult situations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

• Identifies and records major project work needed and discuss needs and priorities with supervisor so annual project and program schedules can be developed.
• Plans, lays out, estimates and arranges materials, crew, and equipment required for jobs.
• Establishes short-term work schedules and assigns work to lead workers and grounds workers. 
• Performs the full scope of groundskeeping duties.
• Inspects assigned areas of completed work to assess need for follow up, identify horticultural problems, and determine proper courses of action.

The City of San José is hiring an Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (PBCS) Technical Lead (Enterprise Supervising Technology Analyst) to provide technical support for Oracle PBCS which is used to prepare the City's Capital, Operating, and Revenue Budgets. The PBCS Technical Lead will also support the three custom budget applications: Fees and Charges, Ordinance Tracking, and Budget to Finance ERP Interface and the Budget Office (BO). The BO is responsible for developing and managing the City's operating and capital budgets and service fees and charges. This position requires strong technical hands-on experience and leadership skills, as well as the ability to take initiative and lead others. We are seeking an individual who is willing to adapt to an ever-changing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and functional background supporting Oracle PBCS and/or Oracle Hyperion Planning, and multi-dimensional databases with strong analytical skills. In addition, development experience using .NET Framework, Java, or JavaScript to effectively manage and support custom-developed applications is essential. Expertise should cover the entire system implementation lifecycle including gathering business requirements, creating functional and technical designs, application development, and administration.
Key duties include but are not limited to:

DEFINITION

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
