The Novato Sanitary District is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and goal-driven individual to join our Collection System team as a Collection System Worker (CSW). The District will hire at the level of CSW I or CSW II depending on skills, certifications and licenses held by candidates in the pool of qualified applicants. 

The CSW performs a wide variety of tasks associated with the maintenance of wastewater collection and reclamation systems, including inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repairs on lines, pump stations, and treatment facilities. The successful candidate will possess experience in general maintenance tasks, including the safe and effective operation of a variety of hand and power tools and equipment. Possession of a commercial driver's license is highly desirable. Experience working with sewer cleaning trucks and equipment is also a plus.

The City of Sebastopol is seeking a problem-solving, inclusive, collaborative, and good communicator professional with an understanding of engineering principles and terminology, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, strong mathematical skills for calculations and measurements, and familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols for the role of Engineering Technician I/II.

This position performs various tasks in the office and field, both technical and administrative, supporting the Public Works Department and the City Engineer. The Engineering Technician I/II will be the primary contact person providing assistance and referrals to visitors at the City’s Corporation Yard. The incumbent may be assigned duties related to compliance programs and reporting, engineering projects, and capital projects, which may include project management, development and plan review, calculating fees, issuance of permits, maintaining plan files and engineering records, field surveys, site inspections, information gathering, data analysis, performing mark and locate functions, participating in surveying activities, or other areas as needed. The Town of Los Gatos is establishing a pool of qualified Temporary / Seasonal Maintenance Assistant candidates for the Parks and Public Works Department. The pool of qualified candidates will be used for current and future vacancies in the Department. 

The Maintenance Assistant position is a temporary, hourly, at-will, non-benefited position limited to 999 hours of employment in a fiscal year (July 1 through June 30). The work schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., including holidays.
