The Department:
The City of Brisbane is currently recruiting Police Officer candidates at the Academy Graduate and Lateral level. The Position: This is the non-sworn, trainee-level class in the Police Officer series. Incumbents earn an hourly wage while attending a basic POST certified training academy to obtain the basic skills and fitness level necessary for performance of Police Officer duties. Employment in this classification is contingent upon maintaining enrollment in a POST approved academy for which they are enrolled.
