Description
This is one of newer programs within the Marysville Fire Department. The Marysville Fire Department is hiring continuously for three (3) Seasonal Firefighters.
For this position, each hour worked will be paid at $16.50, that will be paid monthly in accordance with the City of Marysville's established pay schedule, with a maximum of 960 hours per appointment.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 18 years of age
- Valid California Driver’s license
- High school diploma and/or GED
- Graduate of a State Fire Marshal Firefighter I Academy or CSFM Firefighter I certificate
- Current Emergency Medical Technician Certificate
- Current CPAT card, less than 1 year old or meet department physical expectations.

This is a non-benefited position, as the status is seasonal - if hours worked gain eligibility for benefits, you will be enrolled in City benefits according to the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
