Description
The Enterprise Applications Support Specialist coordinates and manages activities related to the support, deployment, configuration, and usage of departmental applications systems; provides assistance with applications system selection and implementation; coordinates projects related to management of interfaces, applications setup and configuration, business process review, and custom reporting; provides expert troubleshooting, resolution, and reporting on business applications issues.
The Enterprise Applications Support Specialists focus on data integrity and report writing, and coordination with geographic information systems to optimize the utility of the new systems. These positions work with the information technology division to manage business systems’ support contracts, upgrades, feature roll-outs, and security. The Enterprise Applications Support Specialist will also be a dedicated database administrator for the land management software requiring database updates and modifications.
Ideal Candidate
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following technical and product skills:
- Supporting Accela Civic Platform and/or Cartegraph OMS
- Experience in any of the following development platforms; Java, C++, SQL, .NET
- Report writing in SQL Server Reporting Service and/or Crystal Reports

Enterprise Applications Support Specialist I
- Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field.
- One (1) year as a business or systems analyst, supporting a broad range of departmental applications systems, including business process improvement, application administration, implementation, and upgrades.
Enterprise Applications Support Specialist II
- Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field.
- Three (3) years as a business or systems analyst, supporting a broad range of departmental applications systems, including business process improvement, application administration, implementation, and upgrades.
Benefits
Salary:
Enterprise Applications Support Specialist I: $101,910 to $ 123,872 annually
Enterprise Applications Support Specialist II: $118,028 to $143,466 annually*
*A 4% market-based equity adjustment, effective July 27, 2025, has been incorporated into the total salary for the Enterprise Applications Support Specialist II classification. Further information is available in the SEIU Memorandum of Understanding.

If 26 or more qualified applications are received, candidates will be invited to participate in a Oral Board Panel Examination tentatively scheduled for the week of August 18, 2025. All applicants will be notified by email as to whether or not they are invited to participate further in the selection process.
An Eligible List will be established as a result of this examination process and will be valid for a period of six (6) months. The list may be extended up to a maximum of two (2) years. The hiring department will review the Eligible List to determine which candidates will be invited to the department selection process.
