A Personal History Statement (PHS) must be submitted at the time of application. Applicants not providing a PHS may be disqualified, the link is provided below.

A copy of a Basic POST Certificate (for lateral), an academy completion certificate (for academy graduate) and college transcripts (as applicable), must be submitted at the time of application.

Resumes may be attached but are not accepted in lieu of an official City employment application.

Qualified applicants will be invited to participate in selection testing, which may include a written assessment, and oral interview. Selected candidates will participate in a thorough background investigation, a psychological suitability evaluation, and a medical suitability evaluation.
