ABOUT THE POSITION
The Building Inspector/Plans Examiner III will primarily conduct plan review for new residential construction and new commercial construction as well as commercial tenant improvements , while providing technical support to the Building Division. This role requires advanced knowledge of California building standards, along with extensive experience in plans examination and building inspection. Equally important are strong interpersonal skills—the ideal candidate is approachable, collaborative, and consistently brings a customer-service mindset to interactions with both internal staff and the public.
