Application Screening
All applications will be reviewed and the most qualified applicants will be selected to continue in the selection process. The selection process may consist of, but is not limited to, the following: 1) Application Screening 2) Practical Skills Test 3) Panel Interview and 4) Department Interview. In addition finalists will be required to undergo a reference check and criminal history fingerprinting (via Department of Justice Livescan)
In compliance with Assembly Bill 1008 (Expansion of Ban the Box Prohibitions on Criminal History Inquiries), the City of Belmont does not require job applicants for this position to disclose conviction history information until after a Conditional Offer of Employment has been provided to the Applicant.
