The City of Corcoran is located in the heart of California’s Central Valley, the most productive agricultural region in the state. The City was incorporated in 1914 and recently celebrated its centennial. The City of Corcoran is governed by a five member City Council and operates as a “Council-Manager” form of government. The city workforce consists of 68 full-time employees within the Community Development, Finance, Public Works, Police, and City Manager departments. The city’s operating budget is approximately $22,522,000 with a general fund budget of $5,034,000.
