Description

San Mateo County Health's Behavioral Health and Recovery Services division has three vacancies for Psychiatric Social Worker/Marriage & Family Therapist I/II - SPANISH SPEAKING REQUIRED in its Adult and Older Adult Services Center Unit. These vacancies are located in Half Moon Bay and Redwood City. 

 

BHRS Adult and Older Adult Outpatient Services is committed to serving residents of San Mateo County aged 18 years and older who are grappling with severe functional impairments due to serious mental illness and/or multiple co-occurring disorders. As a part of a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, mental health counselors and peer specialists, you'll play a vital role in our clients’ recovery by providing a comprehensive range of psychosocial interventions to improve their quality of life. 

 

Position Details

  • Location: Coastside Clinic in Half Moon Bay and South County Outpatient in Redwood City 

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (No weekends or after-hours) 

  • Work Environment: Clinic-based with the option for hybrid telework (2 days per week) 

  • Responsibilities: Assessments and Treatment planning, care coordination, case management, individual and group psychotherapy, rehabilitation, and crisis intervention 

  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in Spanish, as we primarily serve Spanish-speaking clients
