THE POSITION
Tri-City is actively recruiting to fill a vacancy for Clinical Supervisor I/II within the Adult/Older Adult Full Service Partnership (FSP) Program.
The Clinical Supervisor I/II will appeal to individuals who are inspired by challenges and opportunities presented in working with an engaged and active community. The Clinical Supervisor I/II will report to the Clinical Program Manager.

Coordinate, supervise, and direct the clinical, operational, and program activities of the unit on a day-to-day basis to meet objectives.
Provide direct client services within the appropriate scope of practice.
Guide and consult with staff and the Clinical Program Manager regarding Agency philosophy, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; make recommendations and implement updates to programmatic, clinical, and administrative policies.
Supervise, train, evaluate, and participate in the selection of subordinate clinical and administrative staff, student interns, Mental Health Specialists, and Mental Health Workers; initiate and participate in personnel actions in accordance with Agency HR practices.
Provide or arrange clinical supervision for licensed and unlicensed staff.
Analyze caseloads, forecast resource needs, and review reports for accuracy and timely adjustments.
Ensure compliance with mandated documentation, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements to maintain efficient and effective unit operations.
Assist in the development and coordination of in-service training and staff development programs.
May be required to transport clients using personal or Agency vehicles.
Participate in on-call rotations and perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
Clinical Supervisor I: Two years of post-license professional experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting providing direct client services, which must have included: client assessment and evaluation, development and implementation of appropriate treatment plans, providing psychotherapy or behavioral health counseling, and providing indirect services involving information, consultation, and educational services to staff and community. At least two years of supervisory experience in a mental health/co-occurring disorders setting preferred.
Clinical Supervisor II: At least four years of experience as a Clinical Supervisor I or the equivalent managerial/supervisory experience in a mental health/co-occurring disorders setting, including experience in a responsible management capacity.
LICENSE: Possession of a valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the California State Board of Behavioral Science Examiners or Licensed Clinical Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology. Candidates recruited from out-of-state must possess an out-of-state license to practice in one of the above-stated options. Individuals hired under this option shall obtain their license to practice issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences within three years of the date of hire. During the interim three years, the incumbent shall be eligible for a Mental Health Professional Licensing Waiver Request approved by the State of California Health and Human Services Agency.
Preferred candidates will be bilingual in Spanish.

The incumbents will possess the most desirable combination of education, training, skills, and experience, as demonstrated in their past and current employment history. *Candidates may be hired above the minimum salary range depending on qualifications (DOQ).

Merit Salary Increases: Annually based on performance, budget availability and supervisor approval.
CalPERS Pension: 2% @ 55 for Classic Members and 2% @ 62 for PEPRA Members; employee contributes 7% for Classic and 7.75% for PEPRA. No Social Security.
Vacation: 80 hours per year, increasing with years of service with a maximum of 240 hours; cash out option available.
Sick Leave: Full-Time employees = 88 hours per year with no cap.
Holidays: 11 paid holidays per calendar year plus an additional 16 hours of Floating Holidays.
NEW! Longevity Pay: $2500 at 5 years of service; $5000 at 10-35 milestone years of service.
REVISED! Flexible Work Schedule: 9/80, 4/10 and/or intermittent teleworking, where applicable and approved by supervisor. **
Health Insurance: Medical (Kaiser HMO), dental (MetLife PPO) and vision coverage (EyeMed) of which 80% is paid by Tri-City Mental Health Authority (TCMHA).
Life Insurance: Paid at one times annual salary, paid by Tri-City MHA with additional optional coverage available.
Deferred Compensation (457b): Available to interested employees; no employer match.
