The City operates as a Council/City Manager form of government and is a general law city. There are four elected Council Members and a separately elected Mayor. The City employs approximately 80 full-time employees plus up to 25 part-time/seasonal staff during peak summer season. The City’s 2020/2021 fiscal year General Fund budget is $20.5M.
The Fleet Management Division in Public Works Department is responsible for the management of the City’s fleet including the comprehensive inspection, maintenance, repair, acquisition, and disposal. The City’s vehicle and equipment fleet currently consists of over 2,700 assets.
