The City of San José – Environmental Services Department is recruiting for a Senior Heavy Equipment Operator at the San José -Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility (RWF). Under general supervision, the Senior Heavy Equipment Operator performs work of moderate difficulty in the operation, maintenance, repair, and overhauling of large dual-fuel and tri-fuel engines, generators, compressors, and auxiliary equipment at the RWF. This position trains and leads Heavy Equipment Operators and Wastewater Attendants and handles unusual and emergency conditions.
