The Fiscal Analyst I/II position at the Glenn County Community Action Department, performs varied and complex professional accounting and financial analysis work relating to various grants and programs; fiscal and contract management; fiscal program analysis and compliance; prepares analytical, narrative, statistical, accounting and financial reports; develops and monitors budgets; prepares financial statements and reports, and related duties as assigned. Fiscal Analyst I is the entry-level classification in the series; incumbents in this class work under supervision.
This position performs a variety of technical and clerical duties and provides information and assistance to the public regarding departmental policies, procedures and laws. This position is at-will, temporary, part-time and scheduled for approximately twenty-five (25) hours per week.

TYPICAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE
Under general supervision, the Assessment Supervisor plans, assigns, supervises, reviews and evaluates the office operations and administrative and technical staff in the Assessor’s Office; assists in developing goals, objectives, standards of performance and policies and procedures; trains staff in work procedures; performs the full range of administrative and technical assessment work; and performs related work as assigned.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
The Personnel Analyst classification series performs a wide variety of secretarial, technical, and paraprofessional assignments to assist in the provision of personnel services to operating departments, employees and the public. The classification of Personnel Analyst I is the entry level classification in this series and performs the more routine personnel and/or secretarial assignments. It differs from the Personnel Analyst II in that the II requires a higher level of technical and professional ability and incumbents are given the more complex tasks to perform.
