The City is accepting applications for a Hourly City Worker- Senior Crossing Guard.
The Senior Crossing Guard will work under the supervision of the Transit Program Manager and assist in the coordination of the school crossing guard program.
This is a part-time/hourly position and the incumbent will work approximately 20 - 25 hours per week during the school year, not to exceed 1000 hours in a Fiscal Year. Schedule will be dictated by school schedules.
The Simi Valley City Attorney is appointed by the City Council to serve as the chief legal advisor to the Council, city boards and commissions, and to internal city departments. In this capacity, the City Attorney will research and prepare legal opinions for the various internal clients; strategize and try both criminal cases and civil litigation; prepare and review new ordinances or revisions to existing ordinances; and manage and mentor the staff of the City Attorney’s Office.

Full-time position, typical work schedule is a 9/80.
Under general supervision, performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and limited construction of the District’s buildings, park amenities, playgrounds, and community pool.

The City of Thousand Oaks Community Development department has an excellent opportunity for an individual with a diverse background in city planning, including development planning and advanced planning. The ideal candidate will be innovative, collaborative, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and perform a variety of planning duties with competence and professionalism.
The City will fill the position at the Assistant, Associate, or Senior Planner level depending on candidate qualifications.

The City is seeking an innovative and proactive Deputy Community Development Director with positive, forward-thinking perspectives. The Deputy Community Development Director – Planning and Development Services will direct and manage the planning function (development and environmental planning) from concept to final inspection, and will oversee permit processing, development planning, code compliance and building functions. This Deputy will also serve as Department liaison to the Planning Commission.
