The Sacramento Public Library is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our Human Resources Department. Under direct supervision, the Police Officer Trainee attends a Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T) approved Police Basic Recruit Academy and successfully completes the academic and physical training required for appointment to the classification of Police Officer Recruit II. Police Officer Trainees are considered at-will employees. Police officer probationary status begins when the trainee is sworn in as a Police Officer Recruit II after completion of the police academy.
The Director is a regular full-time, administrative, exempt and at-will position. Under general administrative direction, plans, directs, and manages the activities, staffing, resources and operations of the City’s Human Resources Department; acts as a member of the City Manager’s management team; and provides highly-responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager.

The City of Fremont currently has two (2) vacancies for the position of Park Compliance Officer. The Parking Compliance Officer will work independently to patrol citywide streets, parking facilities and other off-street locations to enforce City of Fremont Municipal Codes and California Vehicle Codes. Additional key responsibilities include investigating citizen parking complaints, observing and reporting unauthorized activities, hazards, and other conditions or emergencies.
