The Police Department is seeking to fill multiple positions for the Community Service Officer (CSO) classification. Under close supervision, this position will assist the Bureau of Field Operations in non-hazardous police functions, including but not limited to, assisting at one of the information centers or community policing centers, conducting investigations and performing non-enforcement related work.

Under general supervision, the Permit Technician performs a variety of plan checking and permitting in connection with the City’s building regulations. The position performs a variety of duties supporting the operations at the front counter with frequent interaction with the general public.

$5,128 - $6,234/mo. + excellent benefits
DEFINITION: Under general supervision from the Public Works Manager, leads skilled and semi-skilled mechanics in the most difficult and complex vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair work; and personally makes the most complex mechanical repairs to automotive, diesel, and other power driven equipment. The incumbent exercises functional and technical supervision over lower level, equipment maintenance staff.
