The City of American Canyon welcomes applications from energetic, responsible individuals who will serve as Lifeguards or Lifeguard/WSI. Lifeguard/Lifeguard/WSI observe the activity of swimmers in and around the American Canyon Aquatics Pool and must have the ability to make appropriate decisions and act quickly, provide lifesaving services as needed. Under general supervision, a Reserve Police Officer performs a variety of law enforcement and modern crime prevention work; controls traffic flow; patrols an assigned area for the prevention of crime and enforcement of federal, state and local laws and regulations, and arrests violators as necessary; performs investigative work; and other related law enforcement work as required.
This is a NEW program within the Marysville Fire Department. The Marysville Fire Department is hiring continuously for twelve (12) Firefighter Reserves. These positions will be funded for four (4) years through the SAFER Grant.
For each 24 hour shift worked, you will receive $60 for food and mileage, that will be paid monthly in accordance with the City of Marysville's established pay schedule.
